Please find below my recent walking performance [Self-imposed challenge]:
>> Independence Walk -11th May to 15th August 2024 – 97 Days duration – Target Daily Average of 25,000 Steps/Day – Required Target Steps – 2,425,000 Steps – Reached on 9th July 2024. Total accumulated – 3,365,829 Steps with a daily average of 34699 Steps/Day. Excellence Performance.
>> Samsung S Health Paris Olympic Challenge 2024 – 26th July to 11th August 2024 – 17 Days Duration. Total accumulated – 589,064 Steps with a daily average of 34651 Steps/Day as per SBH Apps. Samsung S Health recorded 612,696 Steps with a daily average of 36041 Steps/Day. Excellence Performance.
>> USA Trip 2024 Walk – 7th July to 20th August 2024 – 45 Days duration. Target 25,000 Steps/Day – 1,125,000 Steps. Total accumulated – 1,120,785 Steps (short of 4215 Steps) with a daily average of 24,906 Steps/Day. Slightly under performed. Performance affected by long duration International travels, jet lags, house move etc. Walking mostly done at Crosstown Gym, Austin, USA. During this trip, explored in details Kolkata, Istanbul, Austin, Chicago and Abu Dhabi International Airport by walking – > 80,000 Steps or so. Out of 90 AM/PM sessions (45 Days), missed 28 AM or PM sessions.
Till 23/08/2024, I have accumulated 84,140,717 Steps (67313 KM; @1250 Steps/1 KM) with a daily average of 20413 Steps/Day since 11th May 2013 [4123 Days duration].
At present, my immediate walking goal is to walk past 86 Million Steps by 31st October 2024. In order to achieve that I have taken up another 101 Days [6th Aug to 14th Nov 2024] walking challenge @37500 Steps/Day.
To me, Every Step Counts as well as Matters. My Mission/ Vision – 1) Health for All and Priority, 2) Serve Others to Serve Self: Serve with Smile and Love, 3) Be The Truth and Be With The Truth Ever, and so on.
Next Short/Medium/Long term Goals are as follows –
>> 86 million Steps [Arthur Blessitt’s world record walking over 50 years] by 31.12.2025 – Revised Target 31-12-2024, 31-10-2024
>> 4th – 101 Days Challenge – 6th Aug -14th Nov 2024 @37,500 Steps/Day
>> East Coast Greenway Trail – Maine to Florida ~ 3000 Miles (4830 KM) by 31/12/2024
>> Medium term target of walking virtually from Cape Town, South Africa to Magadan, Russia – 22387 KM by 10th May 2026, started on 11th May 2022. Revised Target by 31-08-2025
>> Sachin Tendulkar’s all format runs of 81742 Runs – KM by 31/12/2027.
>> 100,001 KM Walking by 30/12/2030
To achieve above, I have to maintain daily average steps of 25000 Steps/Day [ 20.0 KM/Day Equivalent].
