101 Days Challenge Walk [27th Apr to 5th Aug 2024] while chasing 66666 KM

Hi All,

Good Day…

While chasing 66666 KM walking by 30th September 2024, I have taken up a self-imposed challenge of continuous 101 days walking [27th April – 5th Aug 2024] with a daily average walking of 40000 Steps/Day. Due to international travel & jet lags, I could only accumulate 3,604,519 Steps only with daily average of 35688 Steps/Day -Underperformed.

At present, my immediate walking goal is to walk past 86 Million Steps by 31st October 2024. In order to achieve that I have taken up another 101 Days [6th Aug to 14th Nov 2024] walking challenge @37500 Steps/Day.

1st – 101 Days Challenge –  3rd August – 12th December 2015 – Walking @Kolkata after returning from BSP

Total of 2070669 (Equivalent to 1656.54 km – 1250 Steps/KM) steps – Daily average of 20707 Steps/day (equivalent of 16.56 km/d).
 

 

To me, Every Step Counts as well as Matters. My Mission/ Vision – 1) Health for All and Priority, 2) Serve Others to Serve Self: Serve with Smile and Love, 3) Be The Truth and Be With The Truth Ever, and so on.

Next Short/Medium/Long term Goals are as follows –

>> 86 million Steps [Arthur Blessitt’s world record walking over 50 years] by 31.12.2025 – Revised Target 31-12-2024, 31-10-2024

>> 4th – 101 Days Challenge – 6th Aug -14th Nov 2024 @37,500 Steps/Day

>> East Coast Greenway Trail – Maine to Florida ~ 3000 Miles (4830 KM) by 31/12/2024

>> Medium term target of walking virtually from Cape Town, South Africa to Magadan, Russia – 22387 KM by 10th May 2026, started on 11th May 2022. Revised Target by 31-08-2025

>> Sachin Tendulkar’s all format runs of 81742 Runs – KM by 31/12/2027.

>> 100,001 KM Walking by 30/12/2030

 To achieve above, I have to maintain daily average steps of 25000 Steps/Day [ 20.0 KM/Day Equivalent].
