Hope, you all are in good health & spirit during very hot summer in India. We have comeback from San Jose (Silicon Valley, CA, USA, pleasant weather) to Kolkata, India (very hot weather) safely on 21st April 2024. After 3-4 days jetlag, I have resumed my daily ritual walking since 25th April 2024.
During our stay in USA [28/10/2023 to 20/04/2024 – 175 Days], I could accumulate 4207763 Steps – with daily average of 24044 Steps/Day [ Vs Target 22857 Steps/Day ].
For the remaining of 2024, I need to accumulate similar daily average, so that I could reach 66666 KM by 31/10/2024 and 86,000,000 Steps [Arthur Blessitt’s world record] by 31-12-2024.
Till date, accumulated 79,999,354 Steps. – 63999.48 KM.
To me, Every Step Counts as well as Matters. My Mission/ Vision – 1) Health for All and Priority, 2) Serve Others to Serve Self: Serve with Smile and Love, 3) Be The Truth and Be With The Truth Ever, and so on.
Next Short/Medium Goals are as follows –
>> Target (11064 KM) to complete “America Great Western Loop” – 65572 KM by 31-07-2024.
>> Target to complete “11th Year Walking Anniversary” – @64412 KM by 10th May 2024
>> Target to achieve 66666 KM by 30th September 2024
>> 86 million Steps [Arthur Blessitt’s record walking over 50 years] by 31.12.2025 – Revised Target 31-12-2024
>> East Coast Greenway Trail – Maine to Florida, USA ~ 3000 Miles (4830 KM) by 31/12/2024
>> Republic, Escape, Independence and Gandhi Jayanti Walk – @ 25000 Steps/Day in 2024
>> Medium term target of walking virtually from Cape Town, South Africa to Magadan, Russia – 22387 KM by 10th May 2026, started on 11th May 2022. Revised Target by 31-08-2025
>> Sachin Tendulkar’s all format runs of 81742 Runs – KM by 31/12/2027.
To achieve above, I have to maintain daily average steps of 25000 Steps/Day [ 20.0 KM/Day Equivalent] over next couple of years to clock 100001 KM walking by 31/12/2030.
