Let me share my latest walking Performance…

————— Q3, 2023 ——————

  • Accumulated 1746749 Steps..18986 Steps/Day [Below average]
  • October 1008310 Steps – 32526 Steps/Day [ Above average]
  • November 348171 Steps – 11606 Steps/Day [ Below average due to jet lags]
  • December 390268 Steps – 12589 Steps/Day [ Below average due to fevers, raining etc]

————— 2023 Overall ——————

  • Accumulated 9,484,450 Steps..25985 Steps/Day
  • Walked 7587.6 KM [ 1 km = 1250 Steps ] vs. 7500 KM target.. Actual of 20.79 KM/Day Vs 20.55 KM Target
  • Actual is just over Target. This is the best year of 10+ years walking career since 11th May 2013.
  • Raised virtually Rs. 94844/- [ 100 Steps = 1 Rs ]..Stipend given Rs. 36000/- (@ Rs. 500/- per month per student) to needy 6 students.
  • Published book – A Step To A Step Forward: Unleashing the power of walking. This is available in Amazon, Flipcart etc.

————— 2024 Target ——————

  • Accumulate 9,500,000 Steps. Average 25956 Steps/Day for 2024.
  • Till today (05-01-2024), Accumulated 76,651,694 Steps with daily average of 19700 Steps/Day since 11th May 2013.
  • Overall Steps to Accumulate 86,000,000 Steps by 31/12/2024… being recorded since 11th May 2013.

Next Short/Medium Goals are revised –

  • Target to Achieve Rahul Dravid’s 63242 all format runs [Test + ODI + FC + Listed] by 31-03-2024.
  • Target to Achieve Daily Average of 20000 Steps/Day by 10th May 2024
  • Target (11064 KM) to complete “America Great Western Loop” – 65572 KM by 31-07-2024.
  • Target to achieve 66666 KM by 30th September 2024
  • 86 million Steps [Arthur Blessitt’s record walking over 50 years] by 31.12.2025 – Revised Target 31-12-2024
  • Medium term target of walking virtually from Cape Town, South Africa to Magadan, Russia – 22387 KM by 10th May 2026, started on 11th May 2022. Revised Target by 31-08-2025

In order to achieve above, I have to maintain daily average steps of 25000 Steps/Day [ 20.0 KM/Day Equivalent].

I am sharing above as Public Pledge, for self-inspiration / motivation.
