Ramakrishna Sarada Education & Health Movement – SBHF Pilot Project

Good Day,

RamaKrishna-Sarada Siksha o Swasthya Prasar Project:  A Pilot Project of Step Bank of Health Foundation (SBHF).

Monthly Educational Scholarship of Rs. 500/- shall be given to economically weaker section Meritorious Students for

  • 50 Minutes of daily average walking [ about 4 – 4.5 KM, minimum 7000 Steps Daily ] or
  • 30 Minutes Walking and 30 Min Cycling or
  • 60 Minutes Cycling [ 116 Steps/Minutes ] or
  • 35 Minutes daily running or
  • Equivalent physical exercises [ 1500 Minutes of each month – 210000 Steps Monthly ].

Once recipient gets job after completing their education or establishment, Scholarship Recipient shall start giving 2 such Scholarships for the same tenure.  2 Scholarship is being considered for late Professor Dr. C R Lahiri’s [ Department of Chemical Technology, Rajabazar Science College, Calcutta University ] Memory since 1st January 2023.

Funding – Keep it aside Rs. 1 per 100 Steps of my walking for entire 2023 duration. Will buy steps from recipient @ 400 Steps = 1 Rs, maximum monthly Rs. 500/-. Personal Target – 7500 KM – 9375000 Steps – Rs. 93750/- Walking in 2023

>> Great America Western Loop – 3rd February 2023  – 30th September 2024

>> 55555 KM by 31th December 2022 – Revised Target 31-03-2023

>> 10th Year walking by 10th May 2023 – 56600 KM

>> 86 million Steps [Arthur Blessitt’s record walking over 50 years] by 31.12.2025 – Revised Target 31-12-2024

>> Medium term target of walking virtually from Cape Town, South Africa to Magadan, Russia – 22387 KM by 10th May 2026, started on 11th May 2022. Revised Target by 31-08-2025

In order to achieve above, I have to maintain daily average steps of 25000 Steps/Day [ 20.0 KM/Day Equivalent ].

I am sharing above as Public Pledge, self inspiration / motivation.
