Good Day,

Let me share my Mission Silicon Valley [17/01 -09/07/2022] Walking Performance Review.

  • Mission Silicon Valley [17/01-09/07/2022 – 174 Days] Target – @25000 Steps/Day – Total 4,350,000 Steps    Vs  Actual – @23493 Steps/Day [ 94% ] – Total 4,087,847 Steps – Walked 3270 KM

The main reasons for this under performance [ Vs required rate 25000 Steps/Day ] are

  • > In March, 5 Days no mapped walking, overall walking 26270 Steps/Day
  • > In April, 16 Days no mapped walking; overall walking 16625 Steps/Day
  • > In June, 9 Days no mapped walking, overall walking 18093 Steps/Day due to trip injury
  • > In July, till 9th July, 5 Days no mapped walking, overall walking 10884 Steps/Day due to trip injury

In view of the above, next Short/Medium Goals are revised –

  • > Independence Walk [10/05 – 15/08/2022] – 0.5 Marathon (21.1 KM/Day, 26375 Steps/Day) daily or more
  • > Gandhi Jayanti Walk [15/08 – 02/10/2022] – 0.5 Marathon (21.1 KM/Day, 26375 Steps/Day) daily or more
  • > Republic Walk [15/08/2022 – 26/01/2023] – 0.5 Marathon (21.1 KM/Day, 26375 Steps/Day) daily or more
  • > Great America Rail Trail – 8th March 2023 – Advanced to – 31-12-2022
  • > 55555 KM by 31th December 2022 – Revised Target 20-02-2023
  • > 10th Year walking by 10th May 2023 – 57000 KM
  • > 86 million Steps [Arthur Blessitt’s record walking over 50 years] by 31.12.2025 – Revised Target 31-03-2025
  • > Medium term target of walking virtually from Cape Town, South Africa to Magadan, Russia – 22387 KM by 10th May 2026, started on 11th May 2022..Revised Target by 31-10-2025

In order to achieve above, I have to maintain daily average steps of 25000 Steps/Day [ 20.0 KM/Day Equivalent ].

I am sharing above as Public Pledge, self inspiration / motivation.
